The Nevada Career Explorer is an exciting tool available to all public libraries in Nevada which assists users in finding a career they love and that matches their interests and skills. Using local job openings and profiles on regional employers, the Career Explorer is built for Nevadans and highlights the occupations that are a high priority for the State of Nevada. This program shares what the Las Vegas Clark County Library District has learned system wide and discuss its best practices. Additional workshop elements will include ideas wrap-around programming that can be used with the Nevada Career Explorer to introduce the tool to your patrons.
