Brittany Paloma Fiedler is a Teaching & Learning Librarian at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas where she spends most of her time providing information literacy instruction to first-year students. She also facilitates professional development for UNLV faculty and provides library instruction to local middle and high school students. Her research interests include how academic libraries can better serve traditionally underserved students and the experiences of academic librarians of color. Before entering academia, she was a high school English teacher and middle school librarian. She was an ALA Spectrum Scholar and an ALA Emerging Leader and is a proud alumna of UIUC and UNLV.
