Forrest Lewis

Director of North Las Vegas Library District
Forrest Lewis was named Director of the North Las Vegas Library District in November 2013. 
 As director of the North Las Vegas Library District, Forrest oversees the operations of the City's three full-service libraries -- the North Las Vegas Library, Aliante Library and Alexander Library. 
 Forrest joined the City in 2001 to work in the North Las Vegas Library as a family services librarian. He was promoted to the position of branch manager in 2008 to run the newly built Alexander Library. In July of 2012 he began managing both the Alexander and Aliante libraries. He was employed with the Las Vegas-Clark County Library District for five years before joining the North Las Vegas Library District. 
 Forrest received his bachelor of science degree in English from Southern Oregon University and a master's degree in Library and Information Science from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
