Through my passions for marketing and PR, I constantly put 100% of my creative energy toward maintaining the stellar image of the Washoe County Library System within the local community. In addition to being a lead worker at the Northwest Reno Library, I also serve as a member of the Marketing and Communications (MarCom) team, coordinating production operations for The Explorer, our quarterly events publication. I have been a member of the WCLS MarCom team since its inception in 2016, and I’ve been creating print and digital marketing materials for the system since 2004. I’m currently an MLIS student at San Jose State University, pursuing a specialization in library management and leadership. Outside of my professional life, I also work on creative community projects with local nonprofits like The Holland Project, Reno Instagrammys, and Latino Arte. I’ve been a singer-songwriter, awards show co-host, improviser, event emcee, parade coordinator, and Drag Queen Story Hour host
