Jennifer Willett, PhD, is an assistant professor of social work at UNR. Her current research focuses on documenting slow violence and environmental injustice in Nevada through community-based research. The core of this research team are local high school students that are trained as youth scientists and use the photovoice method to photograph environmental problems, hold community discussions, and initiate actions. She holds a PhD in social work from the University of Connecticut.
