A native Nevadan, Joy began her time in libraries as a Reference Librarian while an undergraduate at Pacific University in Oregon. As a law student at the Charleston School of Law in South Carolina she became an advocate for the use of digital resources.  As the Digital Services Librarian at the Nevada State Library, Archives and Public Records she now strives to drive Nevada libraries further forward, by helping to provide access to meaningful content in digital format.
