Katherine Keller has worked for University Libraries, UNLV since the year 2000, transfering to the Teacher Development and Resources Library (TDRL) in 2013, she created the TDRL's ongoing curated displays.  She has served on the steering committee for the Vegas Valley Comic Book Festival since its inception, and in 2014 she joined the board of the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund. Related to her non-profit work, she is currently a graduate student in UNLV's school of public policy and leadership, working towards an MPA. She is passionate about graphic novels, diverse books, open access, process improvement, and the right to read.
