Trustee
Linda Powers is an active, proud member of the North Las Vegas community. She retired there from Tucson, Arizona where she was a classroom teacher, Literacy Specialist and also a Coordinator of the Gifted and Talented program. In 2002, Linda accepted a Literacy Specialist position with the Clark County School District. After she retired from CCSD, Linda wanted to find a way to support literacy in the North Las Vegas community, and in 2013 was selected to serve on the North Las Vegas Library Board of Trustees. Linda has continued as a library Trustee, and has been instrumental in ensuring the stability and success of the district
