Tod Colegrove, Ph.D., MSLIS, is the Director of the Carson City Library, former Nevada State Library Administrator, and professor emeritus at the University of Nevada, Reno. Tod holds a master’s degree in library and information science, as well as both masters and doctoral degrees in physics. His background includes eight years as the head of the DeLaMare Science & Engineering Library, where under his leadership the library implemented one of the first academic library makerspaces, becoming an exemplar of active learning and 21st-century librarianship. Throughout his work in Nevada's libraries, he seeks to catalyze support for Nevada’s libraries and enable library staff and supporters to discover  synergies between one another, ideas, and the greater business and private community.
