The Washoe County Library System's Maker Services Team planned and implemented the Quad, a new library makerspace at the Downtown Reno Branch that opened in August 2018. A variety of equipment is available to the community to use, including a heat press, sublimation printer, a vinyl cutter, sewing machines, and button machines. A mug press was recently added. In addition to the Quad, the Team works on bringing other maker services to all the WCLS branches including virtual reality systems, 3D printing, and DIY Repair Clinics.
